Markay Johnson a design builder has beautifully re-created a Belgian masterpiece: Domaine des Vignes overlooking a vineyard, winery, and vintner barn. This elegant masterpiece is nestled among 60-year old trees and tucked away in the mountainside of Lost Canyon overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. As you enter the winding private drive, you are reminded of chateaus of the French countryside. The 27-foot chandeliered foyer and grand hall create a special elegance for entertaining in lavish European style. The formality of the parlor, dining room, grand hall, and library are softened as you explore the warmer areas of the home. A patio designed for privacy off the grand hall gives an aerial view of the vineyard, and a commanding and romantic view of the Salt Lake Valley can be savored. The owner’s dreams and passions were combined into the estate. A French subterranean wine cellar has been integrated with iron gates, winding tunnel stairway and buttress ceilings to house the winery collection. This majestic chateau on the hillside is best described as an extension of the owner’s personality and private lifestyle.
